PC Power was a Paragon Publishing publication that focused on PC gaming with news, previews and reviews as well as featuring a covermounted CD-ROM with playable demos of the latest games. Launched in January 1994 at a time when PC gaming magazines were being launched by the majority of publishers. Following a cut back on magazines within Paragon Publishing, as well as job losses, PC Power was sold to Rapide Publishing in July 1996.
